    Stephanie Burkett

Dr. Stephanie Burkett has been practicing chiropractic for nearly 12 years. She was born and raised in Alabama. She graduated with honors from the University of Alabama with a Bachelors of Science - Biology.  She went on to graduate Valedictorian of her class at Life University, College of Chiropractic in 2013. She was also the only graduate in her class to be inducted into the Pi Tau Delta Honor Society. A membership reserved only for those who have demonstrated the highest level of academic achievement while in chiropractic school.

Dr. Burkett got interested in chiropractic after a neck injury. She started seeing a chiropractor and was able to get relief without the use of drugs or surgery. After a little research, she could see how beneficial chiropractic could be even for non-spine related problems. She loved how chiropractic care was focused on treating the cause and not just the symptoms. After a short time, she noticed her migraines had all but disappeared. This was life changing and that’s when she knew she wanted to be a chiropractor. She was determined to give people back the life they deserved without drugs or surgery.

Dr. B, as she likes to be called, enjoys getting to and treating the root cause of her patient’s problems. She specializes in treating bulging discs, “pinched nerves,” low back pain with or without sciatica, neck pain, headaches/migraines and extremity pain. She treats all ages including infants and geriatric patients using the most gentle techniques. A few of the techniques that Dr. B utilizes are Thompson Drop, Diversified(Hands on), Activator, Webster, and myofascial release.

Last but certainly not least Dr. Burkett, is a wife and mom. She has been married for 12 years to her college sweetheart, Nick. While stationed overseas in Germany, they had two kids Thomas(7) and Lorelai(5). She also has two fur babies, Skuttles and Noodles. In her free time, Dr. B enjoys reading, gardening, and going to the lake.
